The question
Before comparing hull sections or centre-of-gravity positions, the direction and origin of the measurements need to be explicit. The reference-verification archive documents top, side, bow and stern views.
The convention
The Wahoo reference uses +X forward, +Y port and +Z up. Engineering stationing and physical geometry are distinct: a stationing datum must not be used to flatten or replace the shaped stern.
What this establishes
This record supports a consistent description of the hull. It is a reference check, not evidence of hydrodynamic performance or a physical acceptance test.
Next steps
Keep subsequent source revisions and coordinate conventions attached to each published measurement so comparisons can be checked.
